This isn't the greatest picture, but no one was willing to cooperate very well. I only wanted the picture to point out that my neighbors have once again put up a blow up decoration in their yard. I have conviently circled the Yard Decoration in yellow so you won't miss it. They do this for just about every holiday. To see more examples click here and here

Friday night

A ride out to get yummy chicken fingers, and fried mushrooms with horseradish dipping sauce. Then afterwards we went to the beach. I got more pictures and I might post them next week. I'll be posting some beach video when I get a chance. Probably next week. Earlier today I posted two beach pictures that you can check out on Flickr.

3 Happy Guys

Busy as ever

Sorry to those of you who have been wondering why I haven't held to my "I update the blog just about everyday" We have been really busy latley. More so than usual. Ted just got back from his second out of town trip for his business. This has been a little over a week for two trips. He was in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 5 days and then had an Atlanta trip that he just got home from today. I have only gotten more POOL shots latley so I decided to post a few of Ted's Salt Lake City pictures. All of our school stuff started up this week also so I haven't had as much time to update. I'm sure once things settle a little I'll be back to updating regularly.

Ohh Ahh

Everyone got to Oooh and Aahh over Jonathan's bike. He just got it back from the shop. It looks really nice. We tried not to breath on him, he doesn't ant to catch our virus.






I don't know if many of you remember me asking you to pray for our friends the Veak family. Their then 11 year old son had a stroke. I just got a link to a photoalbum where you can see where he has come from and how well he is doing now. One new prayer request is that his arm hasn't healed fully. He still needs alot of therapy. He is about to move and change insurances and Drs. Please pray that he can get the best care. Click here to view a photoslideshow

Fan II

August 8th

So Ted caught the virus or whatever it is. I was thinking mine was sinus but I'm still having a sore throat. Whatever it is alot of people are just getting over it or have already had it. Ted went to the Dr. tonight who gave him some pain medicine. He said antibiotics wouldn't help, just rest. He fixed a fan today that a friend gave us. It was missing a piece. I love it. Today Matthew and I got a day to ourselves. Shane and Colby got invited over to a friends house and Matthew and I got to hang out.

The end is near

I can't wait until I can post Before and After pictures of the kids new room. It looks like we are almost done. Ted has to hang the ceiling fan, and I have to touch up the chalk boards, and baseboards. Otherwise other than carpet or flooring we are done. Then everyone will have to put up with pictures of all of the new projects we will get going. This weekend Ted hooked back up the record player which I haven't been able to use since before Christmas. I spent most of the day resting (I think my cold has turned into to a sinus thing) in the beanbags with old trashy country music records playing. This is a picture of Ted painting the window on Sunday.

Chair Karaoke

Here are some pictures of Ted and Matthew singing karaoke sitting in chairs. We had fun last night with our friends. I think I must have caught Colby's cold because I'm feeling pretty terrible and I have a bad sore throat. Ted is working hard on the last finishing touches in the room and some other audio stuff. I've been trying to help when I've felt up to it. I am kicking myself for not packing extra batteries. I didn't think to catch any video of either Ted or Matthew singing. By the time I thought of it the batteries in the camera were dead. UGH oh well maybe next time.

August 3rd

Well no pictures of us again. No one was home today and I forgot to take the camera to take pictures today. The kids all got to play with their friends today and I got alot of errands taken care of. Here are pictures of Matches that Ted took a few days ago.

All better

We've been battling a virus over here. At first we thought Colby had pink eye. A call into the Dr. told us otherwise. They said it sounded like drainage from his nose. ( We never knew your nose could drain into your eye) We didn't even realize that he was congested. A couple of hours later he was miserably sick. He is somewhat better today. They were right about the nose too, his eyese are sooo much better today. Shane has only had a fever and hasn't gotten any other symtoms. Matthew hasn't been home so hopefully he won't catch anything.
