Yard Sale

Post Yard sale scooting

Whoa slow me down

We found out a couple of days ago that our neighbors across the street, were going to have a yard sale. Our next door neighbor had decided he was going to put a few things out to sale. We found a few things we could sell. Nobody really felt like trying to deal with it, especially at 6 something this morning. We did end up having a yard sale until noon. I fell like we did pretty good considering we didn't know till a few days ago. After that we met our Truckdriving friends for late lunch early dinner. We are still working on the office and Ted is helping our neighbor next door build a fence between our houses.

It's neat to see what your neighbors have for sale

Working Hard

Hi Mom I'm helping my dad
It's great to have a helper

I love to see these guys sharing times like this
Reading and Relaxing

Ted got lots of work done in the office today. He trimmed out part of the desk and started the shelves in the closet. We still have a long way to go. The last picture of Matthew and Shane reminds me of another picture taken in January 2003Click here for picture. I had a picture of Matthew reading to Shane as an infant but I don't have that posted anywhere on the internet.

Eye Toy Groove

All of the pictures I took today turned out really blurry. I had the setting wrong on the camera. OOOPs! Well I posted one picture anyway. We had some friends come over this afternoon. They homeschool too, so we all got an afternoon break from schoolwork. The kids played video games, tag, hide and seek and jumped on the trampoline. The trampoline has been the thing latley since we finally moved the deflated empty pool.

Leftover camping tired

Ted and Matthew got home safe, with lots of wet clothes from the rain. They had an awesome time and they were glad to have this opportunity. They didn't get any pictures this trip. Ted got some videos of live bluegrass music that they got to watch at a local place.

Police ROCK
This afternoon I spent some time updating the Disney Gallery I had created in February. Shane had a playdate with a friend and Matthew and Ted haven't gotten home from their White Water rafting trip. (I'm expecting them any minute) Below is the link to the updated Disney Gallery. Each little picture is small on the Gallery Website so click on each of the pictures if you would like to view a larger version.

indoor CaMpinG

3 buddies

Wide eyed

Ted picked up this little tent on clearance and I thought the kids would have fun pretending to camp today. It turned out to be a little to hot outside to set the tent up. I decided to set it up in the playroom. They had a friend over and they all enjoyed playing in the tent.

Can you push me Please?

Quiet Drawings

The first picture was taken yesterday. I just never had time to post it. Shane and Colby have had lots of fun playing with the Playmobil cowboy stuff that Matthew has been sharing with them.

Cowboy Reach just broke out of the mange

Next is some drawings that they did tonight. Shane drew Ted and Matthew White Water Rafting (Thats a boat below them) Colby drew the squiggle below that. We had to sit quietly for awhile, so I took some notebooks and pens for them to write in. It worked pretty good so I think I might carry these in the car with me.

Notebooks and Pens the new fun thing

Happy 15 year Anniversary

We celebrated with the kids this year at Disney World, and we just got home a few minutes ago. Here is a picture of Matthew and I at Epcot. I'm sure I will be posting more pictures later on.

Slideshow

I finally got the slideshow done that I had been working on for most of the week last week. It turned out to be alot harder than I thought. It wasn't the pictures or the programs. Our computers showed their age last week. Everytime I turned around one of the files was corrupt or some error. It took hours to do somethings that should have taken minutes. The slideshow is done though. I know I could have done alot better, but I was working with old software and computers. IF I ever do something like this again, I will start alot sooner too. At the end of the week Ted added more memory to my computer. The problem is I think we need a better videocard or something. I haven't been the best about pictures but here are a few from last night, and one from the office. The slideshow is very long and some of you who have dialup connections may not be able to view it.

Bye Bye Pool

Backwards Hats

I thought I would finally post an update. Although this might be a tad too long. If I would have wrote this last week it might have seemed depressing. Now looking back we just have to tweak a few things. Last week was a big adjustment. I don't think we realized how different it was going to be doing schoolwork. Our house is a wreck because of all of the painting stuff. We have piles of stuff everywhere (Note to all: Do House Projects during break times and not the first weeks of school) We had so many outside classes and lots of things to do other places that I am barely making a dent in the mess this week. Plus I don't have much of Matthews help since he has schoolwork to do now. (Boy not having his help makes me realize how much he helps me) Okay so back to last week... we didn't have the best schedule going on, but hopefully things will even out as time goes on. This week we have added one more class and one more meeting on our schedule. I also have a big Computer project for Scouts that I'm working on for a few hours a day for just this week. We started draining the pool too. When Ted went out of town we had an algae problem, while he was gone our good filtering system finally died and the new one just won't filter as well. We really don't even have time to swim anymore so its better to drain it now before the water gets worse. We did get down time in case you were worried, we had skating/park day and then our friends came in town this weekend. We got to spend time with them on Saturday(that was the pool shot with all the kids) and then yesterday we had them over here. (The picture of Shane with two friends on the post below... you might recognize one of the little girls) Ted painted for part of the morning, he painted part of another wall light blue with we didn't like, so I spent part of today covering that up with kilz primer for the new paint we picked (I'll keep it a suprise for now) HINT: One of our friends already gagged yesterday, when I she saw and heard what we were doing.
