Fall back

I always debate people on whether on not we gain an hour or lose and hour and so on. I do realize that we gain an hour when we "Fall Back" In our family THOUGH its like we lost the hour even though we didn't. Its because we have to get up one hour earlier than we used to, which for us is hard. It is hard because we have a hard time getting up anyways. As far was us getting to bed earlier now, that doesn't happen because we are nightowls. In the Spring its the opposite for us, then it will be like gained the hour (Even though we didn't) we get to get up one hour later.

Faces

How are you supposed to get an almost 2 year old to look at the camera and smile? If you have any tips I sure would appreciate them. For those of you who just got this blog address, you can click on each picture to see a larger version. Also there are archives dating back to April. April through August take you to a different blog I had set up, so click the back button to return ( the back button is a green circle with an arrow pointing left) at the top left of your computer screen.

Favorites

One of the blogs I read regulary had a post today where you list your top ten favorite things for today. One thing I like to do every once in awhile is to list my favorite website links. I thought today for my post I would ask what your favorites are. You can add 1 or 20 or whatever amount of time you have. It doesn't have to be favorite either. It could just be interesting. Here are a few for you to check out if you have time.

Growing Up

Yesterday we had a quick little visit with some of our friends. Bernie brought a Rocket and helped the kids shoot it off. I wanted to share some pictures of times we have had with them. The one of just Jessica and Shane is from 2004 sometime. The picture with the three little kids, is of Jessica, Hayley and Shane December 2002. Then I included another picture from the July 2002 bunch. At least I think these were taken in July. Its of Ted, Bernie, Jessica and Shane. We think alot of Bernie, Stacy and Jessica and don't tell them often enough how much their family means to us. Thanks for allowing us to count you as our friends. We love you. The post before this one shows even earlier pictures of us all.

And one more from July 2002

She's missed

Just now before posting. I looked around the room at Ted and the boys and thought what is missing something is off. Oh yeah where is Aggie? Then I remembered. Yes, she is missed. We will adjust though. Here are some more pictures from our trip.

Onward

Today Ted and I signed Aggie out of Windsor. She is no longer a knight. Next week she will be a pioneer at Wayne High. She gets a small little break before starting school up there. Tomorrow we have a busy day. We have to get new tires on the Odyssey after my hydroplaning incident on the way to Helen. We want our trip to be safe at the end of this week. We also have to troubleshoot the video screen. It messed up on the way to Helen. We can't have no form of movie viewing on a 12 hour trip. That would be miserable. Got to keep the kids occupied. Aren't I horrible?

Party

Today was Aggie's farewell party. Well we wanted everyone to have the chance today to say goodbye. Aggie is about to embark on a new adventure. She will be living with my dad and his wife. She hasn't gotten the opportunity to have a chance to know my dad. My parents got divorced (Or got seperated when Aggie was 4) They got divorced later. I remember the day I found out about it. I was very sad. I had lived with parents who were happily married or so I thought my entire life. Just when I was beginning my life as a parent, they started to split up. Matthew was only 6 months at the time. Even though I was 20 it still hurt my parents weren't going to be together. I can't even imagine the thoughts a four year old little girl could have. All this is to say she and my dad get a second chance, before its too late. If you think of her pray for this relationship. Pray for healing for them.

Alive

I know I tell most people I post new pictures everyday or so. I haven't taken or had time to take any pictures since we got home from our trip this week. We've had a ton of things going on. Mostly cleaning. I am happy to say the living room is about 75% empty of all of that junk. I hope to take a picture tomorrow and post it later on in the evening when the living room is ready for people to come over. Thanks for being patient on "NO pictures so far this week"
