Too Much

Sorry about the pictures! Blogger was freaking out on me. Just click on them to see a larger version.

Oh we over did it today, before I realized. Well to begin with Shane had a mild cough yesterday, and I kept him home from our small group last night. (We had a suprise baby shower for a girl last night too~~~I will post on that later) I also kept Colby home since he had a runny nose all yesterday and has been extremely cranky latley. ( I figured it was being sick and NOT teething) Well today I woke them up got them dressed and had a really peaceful morning (This doesn't normally happen) Shane seemed fine and ready for skating. I gave Shane and Colby some cold medicine and headed out the door. We stayed at the skating ring and had a good time. Shane played very hard at the park. He was a shadow to one of our good friends. See the picture from the field where Shane is the littlest guys playing football chasing after the guy in the white Tshirt with blue sleeves. Colby was asleep right after leaving the skating ring and while we were in Mcdonalds drive thru line. He didn't wake up until later and played a little bit. Well after i finally got everyone rounded up and in the car, we made a quick stop to GW. Shane kept asking to ride in a cart, which I thought was weird, but said oh well walk. We headed home and Shane fell asleep (Another sign) he slept a long time even after we got home. He just did too much and it caught up to him. I guess his sickness didn't catch up to him until we stopped. So we are going to take it easy this weekend. (We were almost going to do dinner with Kari but didn't want to give germs to Lucas) We are planning a quick trip to ATL on Sunday, so I hope we can still go.I added another picture of Shane showing off his new shoes.

Hey, Shane...cool shoes!!! Ms. Terri got some new ones today for her birthday. Guess what color? HOT PINK (almost glow-in-the-dark)!!! Hope you feel better & have a good night!

P.S. Jordan is worn out, too. LOL

Sounds like your peaceful morning was the calm before the storm... looks like everyone went to the park this week. Thanks for talking to me about Lucas' bump even though you were busy. Glad you had fun at the "skating ring" Tell Shane cool new shoes!

I know how it is about over doing, you don't realize until it is too late. Poor little guy. Give him kisses from me. Have a good weekend.

Looks like y'all had fun. Glad everyone's feeling better. Jessica's fever was a one-time thing, and she had no fever Friday or today, PTL! Have fun in Atlanta.
